Work in Colorado
Tori Martinez worked in promotions at KKLI-FM 106.3 in Colorado Springs during the station’s 1990s adult-contemporary era.
A Nov. 10, 1995, Network 40 feature credits “KKLI Colorado Springs — Tori Martinez” for the station’s “Quick Cash” promotion. Listeners tracked songs aired at 9, 2 and 5, then tried to become the sixth caller the next morning. Correctly naming the three songs and artists won $106, with Western Pacific Airlines travel certificates added on selected weekdays. The surviving trade feature preserves a specific example of Martinez’s promotional work.
