David Black was a Southern Colorado radio programmer and personality whose career included KKLI, KDZA and KIBT. In 2007 Black was heard in middays on KKLI 106.3, where the Colorado Broadcasters Association honored his show as Best Midday Show. By the 2008-09 M Street Radio Directory he was KKLI program director under Clear Channel, with Bob Richards as general manager.
Black later worked in Pueblo and Colorado Springs rock radio. Colorado Broadcasters Association records place him on KDZA-FM, and the 2013 awards credit David Black alongside Paul Kelley and Nate Baptist for KDZA‘s “Z107.9 Rocks Southern Colorado” station imaging campaign. Black subsequently worked at KIBT/Z107.9 before iHeartMedia moved him to Las Vegas in 2016, where he hosted as Mountain Man Dave.
