Shannon Stone was a Southern Colorado country-radio programmer and personality associated with both KKCS and KCCY.
In August 2000 Billboard Country Airplay Monitor reported that Stone had recently been appointed program director of KCCY after Travis Daily left for crosstown classic-rock KMOM. Stone also took over KCCY afternoon drive and hired former KKIT/Angel Fire program director Jeff Singer for middays. A contemporary station directory from the same era lists Stone as program director of KKCS 101.9, documenting his work on both sides of the Colorado Springs country-radio competition.
