Jeff Singer was a KCCY/Y96.9 midday personality during the station’s Clear Channel era. In August 2000, newly appointed KCCY program director Shannon Stone hired Singer for middays after Singer’s previous role as program director of KKIT in Angel Fire, New Mexico.
The hiring was part of a broader KCCY lineup change after former program director Travis Daily departed for crosstown classic-rock KMOM. Stone moved into afternoon drive while Singer took the midday shift.
