Damon Scott was an air personality at KKMG Magic-FM 98.9 during the station’s 1988 relaunch. The Gavin Report listed him in the 10 a.m.–noon shift after the Magic Morning Zoo, during a period when KKMG introduced a hybrid Urban, Europop, and Top 40 format for the Pueblo–Colorado Springs market.
By December 1989, Scott had moved into mornings at KKMG. Radio & Records identified him and Nathan Cruise as the station’s Colorado Springs morning personalities. The two contemporary trade reports document a shift change within Scott’s Colorado radio career.
