Glynn Alan

Glynn Alan was a Clear Channel executive who led the company’s Colorado Springs radio operation during the early 2010s and later held regional responsibility in Southern Colorado.

In March 2011, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported that Clear Channel had named Alan Market Manager for its Colorado Springs stations. He came from Entercom’s KOSI 101.1 in Denver, where he had been General Sales Manager, and had previously worked in sports sales for Clear Channel Denver.

By May 2011 Alan was publicly representing the Colorado Springs cluster in coverage of Arbitron ratings gains for KCCY and KVUU. In 2012 the Gazette identified him as Clear Channel Regional Market Manager while reporting the launch and early ratings performance of Z107.9/KDZA-FM.

March 2011 — Clear Channel names Glynn Alan Market Manager for its Colorado Springs stations. Alan comes from KOSI/Denver, where he had been General Sales Manager, and previously worked in sports sales for Clear Channel Denver.

2011: KDZA-FM becomes classic-rock Z107.9

November 30, 2011 — Clear Channel rebrands KDZA-FM 107.9 as Z107.9 with a classic-rock format serving Southern Colorado. The KDZA-FM call letters themselves date to 1993; the station had most recently operated as Jet 107.9 and then a rock outlet before adopting the Z107.9 identity.
