Laura Janis was music director of KKFM during the station’s mid-1970s progressive-rock era.
The July 23, 1975 issue of the national rock-radio trade publication Walrus lists Michael Birdsong as Program Director, Laura Janis as Music Director, and John Bartholomew as News Director at KKFM 96.5, then operating from Garden Valley Center in Colorado Springs.
