Linda Fox was a KKFM air personality and Program Director during the station’s transition around 1979–1980.
A December 14, 1979 Radio & Records classified identifies Fox as afternoon drive and Program Director at KKFM/Colorado Springs. The ad says she had prior experience at WCOL and Denver’s KIMN and described her background in Top 40, MOR, Adult Contemporary and music research.
On June 16, 1980, Broadcasting reported that Fox was leaving KKFM for KBZT-FM/San Diego as promotion director. This provides a firm endpoint for her KKFM programming tenure and helps explain the management transition around the end of Steve Scott’s documented KKFM years.
