Jack Hamilton was part of the Sky Hi, Inc. management and programming operation at KKFM 96.5 in Colorado Springs during the early 1980s.
A contemporary Broadcasting station directory lists Jack Hamilton as Music Director at KKFM. The same directory identifies Sky Hi, Inc. as owner, says it acquired KKFM on February 10, 1971, and lists the station’s format as contemporary. The management roster includes Leon Lowenthal, Ron DeLorenzo, Maryanne Glicksman, Randy Sanders, Jack Hamilton, John Gutman and William Weber.
Hamilton’s role is especially significant in the programming chronology: in 1983, Dave Ryan was promoted to KKFM Music Director, replacing Hamilton.
