COLORADO RADIO PERSONALITY

Rick Roddam

Rick Roddam began his professional radio career at KILO 94.3 in Colorado Springs after attending Colorado State University-Pueblo and working at campus station KTSC-FM.

Roddam’s own later recollections place him on KILO‘s overnight shift by January 25, 1998, the night the Denver Broncos won their first Super Bowl. He described KILO as his first professional radio job.

In 1999 Roddam represented KILO at the station’s Rockfest, whose lineup included Megadeth, Ratt and Jackyl. He also recalled introducing Motörhead for KILO at the Colorado Springs Music Hall in June 2000.

Roddam later continued his radio career in Wyoming and Montana, including programming and on-air work.
