Mike Daniels was part of the programming team at KSPZ-FM in Colorado Springs in the early 1980s. If you were listening when the station moved into a contemporary hit sound, he was one of the people behind it.
KSPZ in the early 80s
From at least October 1980 through August 1982, the trade music reports from KSPZ/Colorado Springs carried Mike’s name. He was the station’s reporter to the industry as KSPZ moved into a contemporary hit format, passing along the records the station was adding and what was moving on its local chart.
This is a short page built from trade-paper records. If you worked with Mike or have more to add, we’d love to hear from you.
