KUAD-FM (99.1 MHz), branded K99, is a commercial country music station licensed to Windsor, Colorado. It serves Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and Cheyenne, Wyoming, and is owned by Townsquare Media of Fort Collins, Inc.
History
KUAD-FM signed on in 1975. Its call letters had first been used by KUAD-AM, which began broadcasting in 1969 and is now KJJD. The FM station initially used a Top 40 presentation called “The Power Station” before moving into country music and the “K99” identity. It briefly used the “New Country 99.1” branding in 2019 and returned to K99 on April 29, 2022. The station has also held recurring charity broadcasts, including its annual 28-hour “Cash for Kids” event.
