Gene Austin Knight was a Colorado Springs Top 40 personality associated with KYSN 1460 during the station’s late-1960s/early-1970s peak.
Former KYSN staff recollections identify Knight as a night personality who followed Kurt Grow in the station’s evening lineup. Those recollections also identify his surname as Apodaca and place him on the station during the period when KYSN was the dominant youth-oriented AM outlet in the market.
Because surviving published documentation on Knight is limited, the exact dates of his KYSN tenure remain to be established.
