Derreck “D-Rock” Rusch was a KKMG 98.9 Magic FM personality, promotions director and program director during the Cumulus era.
By 2012 Rusch was handling afternoon drive and promotions at KKMG. In June of that year Cumulus promoted him to program director. The Colorado Springs Gazette reported that before Magic FM, Rusch had worked at 95.5 The Beat and Kiss 104.1 in Atlanta, Power 97.5 in Houston, and several Wisconsin stations.
His promotion places him in KKMG‘s programming succession after the Citadel era and during the early Cumulus ownership period.
