KMOZ-FM

History

The facility signed on May 1, 1960, as KREX-FM. Its call letters changed several times, including KVEE-FM, KJYE-FM, and KJYE. It became KKVT in 2012. On August 1, 2013, KKVT’s adult-hits format moved to 100.7 MHz while the country format on KMOZ-FM moved to 92.3 MHz; the stations exchanged frequencies and formats.

Programming

The Moose broadcasts country music and is part of MBC Grand’s Grand Junction station group. Translators extend its coverage toward Montrose, Rifle, and Moab, Utah.
