Slacker is a longtime Alice 105.9 personality whose career at KALC-FM has moved from the station’s morning show to one of Denver’s most durable afternoon programs.
Alice 105.9
Slacker joined Alice’s morning lineup in the early 2000s, working with Gregg Thunder and Bo Reynolds. When Thunder left Denver in late 2004, Slacker moved to afternoons and teamed with Reynolds for Slacker & Bo. Steve Weed replaced Reynolds in 2006, creating Slacker & Steve, a partnership that lasted for years and became a signature Alice drive-time show.
The program later evolved into The Slacker Show. By 2025 the weekday afternoon team included Slacker, T-Hack and Erin Doyle, with Erica Shea joining that April. Audacy signed Slacker to a new three-year agreement in March 2025 and extended the contracts of T-Hack and Doyle as well.
Slacker has traditionally kept his legal name private, publicly identifying himself only by his on-air name and the first name Michael.
