Dylan Sprague is a radio programmer whose Denver tenure included oversight of KALC-FM (Alice 105.9) and KQMT-FM (99.5 The Mountain) for Entercom.
Career before Denver
Sprague began at WNCI in Columbus while he was in college and later worked nights at KJYO in Oklahoma City. He moved to afternoon drive at KYIS/KATT, then to Kansas City, where he became music director at KMXV and developed his programming career. At WWWQ (Q100) in Atlanta, he earned his first program-director position.
Denver
Sprague arrived in Denver in January 2008 to program hot AC KALC. He subsequently added classic-rock KQMT, giving him responsibility for two very different Entercom brands. In a 2009 industry interview, he described bringing a more unified station sound to Alice and guiding The Mountain through a period of ratings growth.
His Denver staffs included major personality-driven programs such as BJ, Howie and Erica in mornings and Slacker and Steve in afternoons on Alice. The 2013 Television, Radio & Cable Industry Directory continued to list Sprague as programming director in the Entercom Denver group.
