KDMT (1690 AM) in Arvada is a Catholic station affiliated with Relevant Radio. If you ever scanned way up past 1600 on the Denver AM dial, you’ve probably passed through 1690’s many lives.
History
The expanded-band construction permit received the call letters KAYK on November 10, 1997, and the station began on June 3, 1998, carrying Radio Disney. It became KADZ and then KDDZ. Salem Media of Colorado bought it in December 2015, changing the call sign to KDMT and launching Money Talk 1690 on February 1, 2016. It was sold to Immaculate Heart Media on November 14, 2019, and became a Relevant Radio affiliate.
This KAYK is a different facility from the Pueblo 1480 AM station that used KAYK from 1983 to 1988.
