KVBV-AM 1450

KVBV (1450 AM) in Buena Vista is a former AM station that carried a news/talk format. If you lived in the Upper Arkansas Valley, you may remember it as KDMN or KSKE.

History

The FCC issued a construction permit on March 5, 1986. The KDMN call sign was assigned April 10, 1986, and the license to cover was issued September 29, 1986. A new owner completed its purchase in May 1998, the call sign changed to KSKE on September 9, 2004, with a switch to business talk, and the station was sold again in 2017.

The call letters became KVBV on June 25, 2020, and the FCC canceled the license on May 5, 2025. The KSKE-FM 106.3 page covers a different, Kremmling station.
