Work in Colorado
Mike Daniels was part of the programming operation at KSPZ-FM during the station’s early-1980s contemporary-music era.
Radio & Records repeatedly listed “KSPZ/Colorado Springs, CO — Mike Daniels” in its station music reports. The surviving entries begin by October 1980 and continue through at least August 1982, documenting Daniels as KSPZ’s trade reporter during the station’s transition into a contemporary hit format. The reports preserve the records KSPZ was adding and its locally reported chart activity.
