Bob Call helped shape Denver country radio for more than four decades. He came to KYGO-FM from WSOC-FM in Charlotte in 1980 as program director and music director, also working on the air as the station established its country identity.
Call rose through operations and management and ultimately became senior vice president and market manager for the Denver cluster that included KYGO, KOSI, KKFN and KEPN. He continued leading the stations after Bonneville acquired them in 2015 and retired at the end of 2021 after more than 50 years in radio.
