Lowell Thomas grew up as a Colorado kid and earned his degree at the University of Denver. From there he built a career that mixed writing, journalism, and broadcasting on both radio and TV. The Broadcast Pioneers of Colorado call him “one of the first nationally famous newsmen” on network radio.
This is a short stub. He built his career on national network radio rather than at a Colorado station, so no station is linked. If you have Colorado connections or stories to add, send them in with the suggestion form.
