The Colorado Radio Archive is an independent historical archive dedicated to preserving Colorado radio history. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information we collect

When you submit material to the archive, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and any information you provide in the submission form — including descriptions, dates, station names and people featured. We use this only to follow up on your submission if we need clarification.

Like most websites, our server automatically logs basic technical information when you visit — your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and when you view them. We use this for security and to understand how the archive is being used. We do not sell or share this data.

Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies — small files stored in your browser that keep the site functioning properly. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Submitted archive material

Photos, audio, documents and other materials you submit are preserved and may be displayed publicly on this site for historical and educational purposes, as confirmed in the submission form. Submitting material does not transfer your copyright. If you have questions about a submission, contact us through the Submit page.

Your data

You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us through the Submit page. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the revised version here. This policy was last updated October 2026.
