Something here belongs to you, or you’d like it taken down?
The Colorado Radio Archive is a non-commercial history project operated by Dan Hardee Entertainment LLC. Many items here were shared by listeners, former staff, and collectors. If something on the site belongs to you, or you appear in it and would like it removed, we’ll handle it quickly.
Who can ask
- The owner of a recording, photo, or text, or someone authorized to act for the owner.
- A person who appears or speaks in an item and would like it removed or corrected.
- A station or company that holds the rights to material shown here.

What happens next
When we get a request that looks valid, we’ll promptly take the item down while we look into it, and we’ll write back to let you know what we did.
Repeat concerns
If someone keeps uploading material they don’t have the right to share, we’ll stop accepting their submissions.
What to send us
Use the contact page and include:
- The web address (URL) of the page with the item.
- A short description of the item, so we can find it.
- Your name and how to reach you.
- For copyright claims: a statement that you own the rights or are authorized to act for the owner, and that you believe in good faith that the use isn’t authorized.
- For copyright claims: a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and your signature (typed is fine).
If you think we removed something by mistake
You can send us a counter-notice through the contact page. It should include:
- Your name, mailing address, and phone number.
- A description of the item and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the item was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address, and that you’ll accept legal papers from the person who sent the original notice.
- Your signature (typed is fine).
We’ll pass a valid counter-notice along to the person who made the original request. Unless they tell us within about two weeks that they’ve gone to court, we may put the item back.
