D.J. Roberts

D.J. Roberts is credited in 2020 as an on-air personality and production voice around Montrose, on KSNN-FM (“103.7 The River”), KKXK-FM (“94 KIX Country”) and KUBC-AM. If you had a radio on in the Montrose and Delta area that year, the afternoon show, the imaging and a few of the ads you heard may well have been D.J.’s work.

Afternoons, evenings and production

The Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) 2020 results credit D.J. Roberts with the afternoon show on 103.7 The River, a KIX Country on-air contest called the Snacker Bowl, imaging for both The River and 94 KIX Country, the KUBC Gold Evenings show, and a Phelanie’s Speakeasy commercial, a public service announcement called Three Little Things and a Monday Morning Mugging promotion, several of them shared with colleagues such as Stacy Lynn, Lane Seymour and Tony Driskill. The CBA lists the name as “D.J. Roberts” and “DJ Roberts.”

KSNN is 103.7 FM, licensed to Ridgway and serving the Montrose and Delta areas, and it took the River name in July 2018. KKXK is 94.1 FM in Montrose, the “94 Kix Country” station. KSNN, KKXK and KUBC are sister stations, now part of Townsquare Media.
