TJ Sanders is the afternoon host at Krystal 93 (KYSL-FM) in Frisco. If you have been driving home through Summit County with the radio on, you have probably heard TJ ahead of the weather and traffic.

Afternoons on Krystal 93

The station’s Krystal 93 team page describes TJ as a longtime member of the crew who programs the station’s music and gives weather and traffic updates Monday through Friday, with skiing, mountain biking and ocean waves filling the spare time.

TJ was already on the afternoon shift in 2002, when the Summit Daily reported on Krystal 93 being named the Colorado Broadcasters Association’s medium-market station of the year. The afternoon show, billed as “Amazing Afternoons” and later “High Country Afternoons,” and the community and promotional work keep appearing in CBA results from 2020 through 2023.
