Wayne Johnson is the owner and general manager of Media Logic Radio, a Colorado group whose stations cover Sterling, Fort Morgan, Wray and Yuma, including KRDZ and KSRX.

Media Logic Radio

The Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) describes him as owning and operating Media Logic Radio since 2002, starting as an AM/FM combination and now a seven-station group with four FM and three AM signals. The CBA says he began as a part-time play-by-play broadcaster for a group of stations in Garden City, Kansas, and bought his first radio station in 1996. If you listen to Bob FM or Hometown Radio 1400 on the northeast plains, this is the company behind them. Two of his daughters work with him, and he hopes to let them take over day-to-day operations over the next several years.

On the CBA board

He has served for many years on the CBA board. His own name also appears in CBA credits for the morning show On The Mike in the Mornings on KRDZ in 2019, the Bobstock Music Festival on KSRX in 2021 with Melissa Edson and Lindsey Bruntz, and the Media Logic Radio website in 2024.
