Brad Hansen is a country radio programmer who ran operations for Townsquare Media’s Fort Collins stations, including KUAD, New Country 99.1, and worked in Denver, Albuquerque and several other markets before that.

A programmer’s road to Colorado

According to Radio Ink and RadioInsight, he programmed country stations KASE-FM and KVET-FM in Austin for Clear Channel (now iHeartMedia), ran programming in Springfield, Missouri for Journal Broadcast Group, and in Reno, Nevada for Citadel and Cumulus. He had an earlier Colorado stop too: he was operations manager for the Clear Channel stations in Fort Collins.

Denver and Albuquerque

In April 2014 he became program director of 92.5 The Wolf (KWOF) in Denver, a country station owned by Kroenke Sports & Entertainment. If you listened to country in the Denver area in those years, that was his station. In 2016 he left for Cumulus in Albuquerque, where he became FM operations manager and program director for stations including KRST Nash FM.

Back to Fort Collins

Country Aircheck reported in December 2018 that he was joining Townsquare in Fort Collins as operations manager with programming oversight for KUAD, effective January 2, succeeding Lance Tidwell. His name also turns up in Colorado Broadcasters Association credits for New Country 99.1 in 2019 and 2020, and for KTRR, Retro 102.5, another Townsquare Fort Collins station.
