A September 1992 FMQB market profile lists Baker as program director of classic-rock KKFM and director of programming at KKMG. The two Citadel stations served the market in different formats: KKFM as a classic-rock outlet and KKMG as a contemporary-hit station.
In March 1993, Radio & Records reported that Baker had moved to Oklahoma City as program director of KATT. The trade described him as the former KKFM and KKMG programmer and noted his earlier work at stations in Salt Lake City, Beaumont and Lake Charles.
