Chuck Woodford is a radio personality and producer whose Colorado career included KBCO, 96.5 The Peak and other Denver-area stations.
Colorado radio career
After graduating from West Virginia University, Woodford came to Colorado and began his radio career in Boulder. He worked at KBCO-FM from 1990 to 1995 before joining KXPK-FM (96.5 The Peak). A part-time Peak personality at first, he was elevated to mornings and paired with original Peak personality Jackie Selby in 1997.
Woodford also worked under the air name Chuck D, with later Colorado stops including KTNI. His production work extended beyond conventional airshifts: he created the sustainability-focused radioBANG series and supplied programming and imaging for stations in multiple markets.
