Dave Hixson was a Colorado Springs radio programmer and music director associated with KRDO.
Programming leadership
The 1980 Broadcasting Yearbook listed Hixson as both program director and music director of KRDO during the station’s middle-of-the-road era. The combined responsibilities placed him over the station’s overall sound as well as its day-to-day music selection.
The directory confirms Hixson’s dual role in 1980 but does not establish his complete tenure.
