Ed Wood was a Pueblo broadcast engineer associated with KDZA 1230 during the station’s early rock-and-roll era.
KDZA engineering
The 1966 Broadcasting Yearbook lists Wood as KDZA’s chief engineer under owner and general manager Dee B. Crouch. His position placed him in charge of the technical operation of one of Pueblo’s defining popular-music stations during the 1960s.
The yearbook confirms Wood’s role in 1966; exact start and end dates have not yet been established.
