Gary Owens is on the list of KIMN-AM people that Joe Wicks put together for his KIMN tribute site, listed with 1957. If you were tuned in to Denver’s KIMN-AM around 1957, you may have heard the name.

Gary Owens spent time at KIMN in Denver in the late 1950s before heading to California in 1959.

Before Denver, the stops included KORN, KMA in Iowa and KOIL in Omaha, and later Owens became a famous Los Angeles voice and the Laugh-In announcer.

That’s what we’ve found so far, with no fuller biography. If you worked with Gary Owens or have more to add, we’d love to hear from you.
