George Weber is on the list of KIMN-AM people that Joe Wicks put together for his KIMN tribute site, listed in the 1980’s. If you were tuned in to Denver’s KIMN-AM in the 1980’s, you may have heard the name.

George Weber joined KIMN-AM in 1985 as a street reporter and news anchor after sending an audition tape to the news director.

When KIMN changed formats, Weber moved over to KOA-AM, first as a reporter, then doing talk shifts.

Weber later became a well-known talk host in Denver and beyond, and called the KIMN job one of the best moves of a long career.

That’s what we’ve found so far, with no fuller biography. If you worked with George Weber or have more to add, we’d love to hear from you.
