Greg Thomas was KILO’s Promotions Director during one of the station’s most visible and successful 1980s periods.
Radio & Records reported in March 1983 that KILO appointed Thomas Promotions Director, replacing Hazel Parker. By March 1985, R&R’s feature “KILO: Worth Its Weight In Gold To Colorado Springs” credited Thomas with the station’s extensive lifestyle, concert and community promotions, including its U2 St. Patrick’s Day contest and other high-profile events.
Period Broadcasting Yearbook listings continued to identify Greg Thomas as KILO promotion manager in the mid- and late 1980s. A 1987 Gavin Report promotion advertisement also quoted Thomas on behalf of KILO.
