COLORADO RADIO PERSONALITY

Jake Walker

Jake Walker is a Colorado Springs broadcaster, journalist and digital-media professional whose career has crossed music radio, television news and locally focused independent media.

Walker developed his broadcasting background in Colorado Springs, studying radio and television at Pikes Peak Community College and working in local radio. By 2020 he was heard weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on KKMG 98.9 Magic FM. A contemporary interview described him as both a radio personality and the owner of a digital-marketing company, reflecting the increasingly multimedia nature of local broadcasting careers.

Walker later moved into television journalism with KOAA News5. His reporting focused heavily on everyday Southern Colorado concerns, including housing, transportation, weather and community issues. KOAA stories from 2024 identify him as a reporter and direct viewers to his JakeOnAir social-media accounts, preserving the connection between his radio identity and his television work.

Alongside broadcasting, Walker founded CS Local Media, LLC, a Colorado Springs marketing and media company. Better Business Bureau records list Walker as the company’s owner and date the business to 2018.

Where Are They Now?

As of October 2026: Walker remains active in Colorado Springs media through CS Local Media and related journalism, marketing and community-media projects. His current professional activity continues to describe him as a multimedia journalist, editor, writer, DJ, emcee, designer and local-media producer.
