LaLaine Larson, known on air simply as LaLaine, is a Denver radio personality and the longtime midday host at KXKL-FM (KOOL 105.1).
Radio career
LaLaine has been broadcasting since at least the 1990s. One memorable early promotion had her bungee-jump from a crane while broadcasting live with a microphone taped to her hand.
She moved to Denver in 1996 and became a familiar voice in the market. At KOOL 105, she hosts the weekday midday shift from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and participates in station promotions and community events.
Background
Born and partly raised in Sweden, LaLaine is of Swedish and Filipino heritage. She also lived in Luxembourg and Tokyo before her family settled in the Florida Panhandle. She came to Colorado for the mountains and outdoor lifestyle.
