Michael Moon is a longtime Denver radio personality, producer, copywriter and voice actor whose Colorado career includes KRXY-FM/Y108 and the Entercom Denver group.
Colorado radio career
Moon was part of the personality-driven Y108 era on KRXY-FM. Contemporary industry records list him in afternoon drive in 1992, and surviving Y108 staff photographs place him alongside other familiar Denver voices from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
He later worked behind the scenes for Entercom Denver in commercial production, copywriting and voice work. That operation included KALC-FM/Alice 105.9, KQMT-FM/99.5 The Mountain, KQKS-FM/KS 107.5 and KEZW-AM.
Awards and recognition
The Colorado Broadcasters Association’s 2014 Awards of Excellence credited Michael Moon on KALC-FM’s winning sales-campaign entry, “Circle K car wash: Who would you like to wash?”
