Paul Kelley was a senior Clear Channel/iHeartMedia programmer and operations executive for the company’s Colorado Springs and Pueblo stations during the early 2010s.
Country Aircheck reported in July 2011 that Kelley moved from Clear Channel/Springfield, Missouri to become Operations Manager of the company’s eight-station Colorado Springs cluster. He subsequently served as Regional Programming Manager for the Southern Colorado operation.
Kelley was closely associated with KDZA-FM‘s Z107.9 classic-rock era. Colorado Springs Gazette ratings coverage in 2012 quoted Regional Market Manager Glynn Alan crediting Kelley and his team for the station’s launch and early reception. The Colorado Broadcasters Association later recognized KDZA-FM‘s 2013 imaging campaign, “Z107.9 Rocks Southern Colorado,” crediting Paul Kelley, Nate Baptist and David Black.
In November 2014, Kelley was Operations Manager when KKLI rebranded from K-Lite 106.3 to Sunny 106.3. He left Southern Colorado in early 2015 to become Program Director of KESZ and KYOT in Phoenix.
