Woody Powers is a longtime Colorado Springs radio personality best known for his work at 92.9 Peak FM/KKPK.
Powers joined KKMG/Magic FM for middays in 2003. In 2005, he moved within the Colorado Springs Citadel cluster to KSPZ 92.9, again handling middays. That move places Powers on 92.9 before the station’s later KKPK/Peak FM chapter and begins a long association with the frequency.
Powers co-hosted Peak FM Mornings with Woody & Bobby with Bobby Adan. The show won the Colorado Broadcasters Association’s major-market Best Morning Show award in 2019 and again received major-market recognition in 2020, 2021 and 2023. Peak FM’s official schedule has also listed Woody as a weekday personality.
