History
KFLJ operated as a small-market local station in southern Colorado and was owned in its early years by Floyd Jeter. The station provided a local broadcast service to Walsenburg and nearby communities. It ceased broadcasting in 1988. The FCC dismissed its renewal application in 1992, ending its licensed operation. The historical record should not be confused with later FM stations licensed to Walsenburg.
