KLZR (91.7 FM) is a community variety station in Westcliffe, serving the Wet Mountain Valley and staffed largely by volunteers. If you live in the valley, this is the hometown station where your neighbors are the DJs.
History
The station went on the air in May 2004 as low-power KWMV-LP at 95.9 MHz. In September 2015, KLZR began broadcasting at 91.7 MHz as a full-power station, replacing KWMV-LP, which went off the air on September 12. The FCC cancelled the KWMV license on November 6, 2017.
