Russ Johnson was a Colorado talk-radio personality whose career included KVOR in Colorado Springs after a prominent run at KOA in Denver.
Johnson worked at KOA from 1999 to 2004. He subsequently joined KVOR 740 in Colorado Springs and hosted the station’s afternoon talk slot following Joseph Michelli’s departure in 2007.
Contemporary 2007 coverage identifies Johnson as KVOR‘s afternoon host after Michelli’s long-running show ended, while later Colorado media coverage independently places KVOR among Johnson’s post-KOA radio stops.
Southern Colorado station: KVOR.
