KLCX was the call sign of a Pueblo FM station from 2014 to 2025. Educational Media Foundation used the call letters after acquiring the facility previously identified as KIQN. The station later adopted the KWRY call sign and joined EMF’s Air1 network.
History
The KLCX identity began in 2014, succeeding KIQN. Its transition accompanied a change in licensee and programming, from commercial country radio to the noncommercial religious service operated by Educational Media Foundation. In 2025 the station’s call letters changed to KWRY. The sequence is documented in FCC call-sign records and in published histories of the station’s current identity.
