Bo Jaxon is a country programmer and morning host who has worked Colorado radio on both sides of the Palmer Divide. If Denver’s KIMN was on in your house around 2017, or Cat Country 95.1 in Colorado Springs was your early-2020s commute, you’ve heard his work.

Waking up Colorado Springs

When Cumulus relaunched Cat Country 95.1 (KATC-FM) in April 2020, Bo was the new voice greeting you in the morning. He co-hosted the weekday Cat Country Morning Show with Wendy LaBree, airing 5 to 10 a.m. Across the three years he was KATC’s program director and morning host, he was working with a lot of experience behind him. Right before Colorado Springs he was in Missouri as operations manager of SummitMedia’s Springfield cluster and program director of country KTTS. Before that came 14 years at KLUC in Las Vegas, and in 2018 the Nevada Broadcasters Association put him in its Hall of Fame.

The Denver stint in 2017

Go back to January 2017 and Bo was program director of KSE Radio’s hot AC station KIMN in Denver. He was also handed a second job at its country sister station, KWOF, as program director and morning host, a slot that opened up when Ed Hill left in November. On the morning show he joined Jenny D, who was already holding down mornings there, and midday host Greg Peters was bumped up to music director.

Rochester and the move west

In June 2023, Audacy brought Bo to 92.5 WBEE in Rochester, New York, to co-host the Bee Morning Coffee Club with Terry Clifford and TJ Sharp, weekdays 5:30 to 10 a.m. He went on the air for the first time on June 12. Bo grew up in New Jersey and thinks of the East as home, and he thanked Audacy for helping him get back there. His earlier career also took in stations in Ventura, California. He stayed at WBEE for two years and left in March 2025, explaining that he planned to go back west and be closer to his kids.
