Wendy LaBree is a longtime Southern Colorado radio personality whose career has included KVOR and KATC/Cat Country 95.1.
A 2009 Colorado Springs Gazette community event identified LaBree as part of the KVOR team with Allison Golden. Their group won “Best Overall Presentation” in a culinary competition pairing local radio personalities with chefs.
Southern Colorado station: KVOR.
In April 2020 LaBree returned to KATC as co-host of the new weekday Cat Country Morning Show with Bo Jaxon. Industry coverage of the launch noted that she had previously handled middays and traffic at KATC, left radio in 2014 for automotive marketing and podcasting, and then came back for the station’s Cat Country 95.1 rebrand.
The 2009 Gazette result is a station-team recognition rather than an individual broadcasting award: KVOR’s LaBree and Allison Golden, working with chef Scott Coulter, received Best Overall Presentation in the community culinary competition.
