Gregor Vaule was a programmer, music director and morning personality at KYSN 1460 during the early-to-mid-1970s Top 40 era.
Contemporary Colorado Springs Gazette-Telegraph music coverage identified Vaule as KYSN's music director by September 1972. The 1973 Starship Radio directory shows that his responsibilities had expanded: Vaule was listed as both program director and music director, working under general manager John Lambert with Hal Tatel directing news.
Former KYSN staff members also remembered Vaule as the station's morning personality. That combination put him at the center of KYSN's operation—selecting music, overseeing programming and appearing on the air during morning drive.
Trade advertising shows Vaule remained responsible for KYSN's Top 40 air staff into the mid-1970s. Radio & Records classified listings in November 1974 and January and July 1975 instructed Top 40 applicants to contact Gregor Vaule directly at KYSN, documenting his continued programming and hiring authority.
