Jim West was a Southern Colorado country-radio personality associated with KATC/Cat Country 95.1. West was part of Cat Country’s later early-era staff by 2009. He was not part of KATC‘s original 2006 morning show; that launch-era morning team was CK & Alisha. The pairing followed Program Director Jim “Catfish” Miller’s 2007 search for a morning host as the newly launched Cat Country built its local air staff.
A 2009 Colorado Springs Gazette community event identified West as part of the KATC on-air team with Alisha Scott and Bryan Waters. Their group received the event’s “Most Engaging Team” recognition.
