Mike Dylan was Program Director and afternoon personality at KATC-FM/Cat Country 95.1 in Colorado Springs.
Dylan joined Cumulus’ KATC in November 2012 as PD/afternoon host after programming Triad Broadcasting’s KVOX in Fargo, North Dakota. Country Aircheck reported the move on Nov. 27, 2012.
During the Black Forest Fire in June 2013, Dylan described the Cumulus Colorado Springs stations’ emergency-coverage effort to All Access. KATC, KKFM, KKMG, KKPK and KCSF carried live reports and cut-ins from the KVOR news team while tens of thousands of residents were evacuated.
Dylan remained a central part of KATC for years. When Cumulus restored the Cat Country 95.1 branding in April 2020 after the station’s Nash FM era, contemporary coverage still listed Dylan as Program Director and afternoon host.
