KFEZ 101.3 FM is a Southern Colorado station licensed to Walsenburg and serving Pueblo, Walsenburg, Rocky Ford and parts of the Colorado Springs region. The facility signed on in 2009 as KOCK with a rock format.
It returned to the air in 2012 as KFEZ with soft adult contemporary programming, later cycling through sports, country, oldies and an all-1980s presentation branded “Gnarly 101.3.”
Call-sign lineage: KWCS (construction-permit era) → KOCK → KFEZ.
Southern Colorado connection: The station’s large regional signal made it part of the broader Pueblo/Southern Colorado radio landscape even though its city of license is Walsenburg.
Sources: FCC records; published KFEZ station history; contemporary format-change coverage.
